Kabayos Haribon, the esports team of PLM Haribon Athletics, galloped their way to the championship title in the Honor of Kings (HOK) Campus Series season 2 during the Campus PlayFest 2025 held at the Mall of Asia Arena Music Hall on December 7.
In a series where every clash felt like it could tilt the entire kingdom, the Kabayos Haribons’ powerhouse lineup—Clarence Dion Roque, David Jam Punzalan, Cedrik Aldrin Austria, Riley Encarnacion, and Leiran Villegas—took center stage and steamrolled the competition.
With sharp rotations, clutch shot-calls, and relentless offensive pressure, the Kabayos Haribons ruled the HOK battlefield, a mobile game where players team up to dismantle defenses and smash the enemy’s base crystals.
Their journey to the crown was anything but easy, beginning with a nail-biting semifinals clash against National University Dasmariñas Sigma and the championship showdown against Colegio de Muntinlupa Beavers.
In the semis, with NUD Sigma dominating the early half, the Haribons were forced to dig deep, pulling off a thrilling comeback to sweep the series 2–0 and secure their ticket to the best-of-five finals.
Locking horns with the CdM Beavers, the Haribons delivered a dominant performance and took command of the arena; dictating tempo, owning map control, and closing out the championship with a decisive 3–1 final score.
Every round was a strategic masterclass, with low kill counts but razor-sharp execution in the last match, as both teams showcased near-perfection and a shared goal of controlling all thrones in a calculated clash.
But only one stood tall as kings of the arena, with Kabayos Haribon leaving the tournament not just as champions but as bearers of pride—clinching the PHP 200,000 grand prize, along with the honor of their name.
