The battle for the women’s singles title was fierce, as Eunelyn Damian of the College of Nursing (CN) Crusaders dominated the table to sweep Amberleigh Israelyn Manrique of the College of Education (CED) Titans in straight games, claiming the championship held at the Gusaling Emilio Ejercito (GEE) last November 6.

In the first game, Damian had already set the tempo, taking command of rallies and forcing Manrique into defensive positions. Their matches cruised through the sets with scores of 11–7, 11–4, and 11–6, establishing an early statement with a landslide, 3-0 dominance.

In the decisive battle for the title, Damian maintained her fiery momentum in the second game and delivered a near-flawless performance that left Manrique reeling.

Damian opened with authority, her sharp serves and smashes immediately putting Manrique on the defensive, with each rally controlled and relentless. Damian took the set swiftly with the scoreboard at 11-5.

With confidence building in the second set, Damian intensified her attacks, putting herself ahead 11–4, sending powerful and precise placements that repeatedly caught Manrique off-guard, stretching her lead and impressing the crowd with her control.

Damian was unstoppable with every smash executed with pinpoint accuracy and power, sending shot after shot past Manrique and leaving her struggling to respond, ultimately sealing the set at 11–2 and delivering the championship for the CN Crusaders in emphatic fashion.

With this title, Damian adds a women’s singles championship to her growing list of achievements, solidifying her as one of CN Crusaders' rising table tennis standouts.

In another match-up for third place, a first-to-three sets showdown, the College of Information Systems and Technology Management (CISTM) secured the bronze medal in a hard-fought match against the College of Business Administration (CBA).
