A river of devotees filled the streets of Casal and Arlegui, patiently waiting to seek blessings and express deep devotion to the Black Nazarene, Jan. 9.
Delayed for hours by tightly packed streets, the procession recorded its longest halt along Arlegui and exited the area around 1 AM on Jan. 10.
This year’s Traslación was deemed historic, recording the longest Black Nazarene procession at approximately 30 hours with an estimated 9.6 million devotees over the course of the event.
