TNT contender from PLM advances to 2nd Midterm Round

Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) College of Nursing student Claire Maaba belted her way to the semifinals round of the Tawag ng Tanghalan (TNT): The School Showdown after getting the highest average score of 96.3, June 8.

Maaba amazed the judges, hosts and audiences at the Showtime studio while singing “Ain't Nobody” by Chaka Khan.

"Claire, ito lang masasabi ko... I love it from the very beginning until the end. You were fabulous," Louie Ocampo commented on her performance. 

She was also praised by Darren Espanto on her Daily Performance last Wednesday on how her dynamics and storytelling was so beautiful as she charmed everyone with her performance of the song “Better Days” that received a 94.3 average score. 

Maaba will face the other four semi finalists to battle for the Golden Medallion as a ticket for the Grand Finale of this show.
