The morning session opened with an address from Atty. Edward S. Serapio, Chairman of the PLM Board of Regents, whose keynote remarks set the tone for the candidates from the College of Accountancy (CA), College of Public Administration (CPA), and College of Tourism and Hospitality Management (CTHM). These student-leaders led the first half of the program, presenting their leadership platforms and visions for their respective colleges.
In the afternoon, Atty. John Rex C. Laudiangco, COMELEC Spokesperson, delivered his keynote address, emphasizing integrity, compassion, and accountability. This was followed by the presentation of candidates for the Supreme Student Council (SSC), who engaged the PLM community through discussions on philosophical, university-wide, and socio-political issues, as well as their platforms and plans for the Pamantasan.
The proclamation of winners and the oath-taking ceremony for the newly elected officers are scheduled on May 26.
