Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) College of Law student Danielle Amber Dagami was crowned Miss World Philippines–Batangas 2026 during the pageant’s Grand Coronation Night at the Malvar Recreational and Sports Complex, Batangas, Aug. 9.

Representing Tuy, Batangas, Dagami bested 15 other candidates to clinch the provincial title.

As the newly crowned Batangas titleholder, Dagami is set to represent the province in the Miss World Philippines 2027 pageant.

Her advocacy, Beauty with a Purpose Project, is also centered on the Community Empowerment and Rights Awareness Program (CERAP) to promote labor rights and inclusive growth.

In the final question-and-answer portion, Dagami was asked how she would present her Beauty with a Purpose project to the provincial leaders and demonstrate its potential to address their local economic challenges.

She said she would propose feasible steps to improve access to security and justice through social reform programs that cater to vulnerable and marginalized sectors. “Justice, at its truest form, is never selective; justice makes dignity attainable for all,” she added.

Beyond her pageant pursuits, Dagami is also a member of the PLM Moot Court and Debate Society, which previously won the “Balitaktakan: Tinig ng Kabataan” debate against PLM SPADES last Nov. 20, 2025.
