PLM, PETA ink MOU to expand theater arts opportunities for Haribons 

The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) and the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) formalized their partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), opening opportunities for theater-related initiatives for PLM students and the university community, as announced on PLM’s official Facebook post, Sept. 18. 

The partnership aims to support the integration of arts and culture into PLM’s academic environment, with theater serving as a platform for learning, creative expression, and cultural appreciation. 

University President Atty. Domingo “Sonny” Y. Reyes, Jr. and Vice President for Research, Academic, and Extension Services (VPRAES) Dr. Dan Michael A. Cortez signed the MOU on behalf of PLM.

PETA representatives Melvin Roberto Lee, Gold Villar-Lim, Nicole Manlulo, and Marichu Carino took part in the partnership signing. 

The collaboration is expected to provide the PLM community with opportunities to engage with theater arts alongside their academic activities.
