With the theme of “Kapalaran: Buhay sa Guhit ng Hiwaga”, a total of nine short films from various student-led film productions were the finalists for this year’s festival:

“Isda, Dalawa, Tatlo” directed by Vince Joseph Olea
“Toti Mary (Parang Musikal, Medyo Hindi)” directed by Denielle Aspen Ramirez
“Utangina!” directed by Katherine Mata
“Hoy! Pradah Ko Yan!” directed by Myka Jeanell Arabit
“Gupit” directed by Jan Ella Almirol
PIFA President Anna Sophia Valdez commended the success of this year's film festival, citing the hard work of her team and the "alive and evolving storytelling" among Haribons brought SineHaribon to life.
“We embraced stories that dared to confront the unknown, the mystical, and the deeply personal. We’ve built something even bigger, bolder, and more accessible than before, opening our screens and stories to an even wider audience. More importantly, this year’s lineup proved that Haribons are capable of producing films that are not only passionate and heartfelt, but also technically and artistically accomplished. These works reflect a level of craft and vision that could thrive beyond the Pamantasan,” Valdez said.
Award-winning actress Sue Prado and filmmakers Arjanmar Rebeta, Anya Zulueta, Clyde Camale were part of this year’s board of jury.
The two-part event was attended by over 108 students and guests. The SineHaribon 2025 Awards Night was conducted on June 6, also at SinePop.
