Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) officially caps off its Buwan ng Wika 2026 festivities

Carrying the theme, "Wikang Filipino at Al: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon,” the month-long celebration culminated in a closing ceremony held at PLM Bukod Tanging Bulwagan (BTB), following competitions that integrated Al while highlighting the students' own writing skills, Sept. 3.

The winners were recognized for their efforts and dedication through certificates and cash prizes ranging from 1,000 to 3,000 pesos. 

Performances from Haribons across the PLM community also enlivened the program, alongside with a special performance by the OPM band Esremborak.

College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (CHASS) Dean Prof. Luningning P. Galindez emphasized the importance of using AI responsibly, reminding students that it should serve as a tool to support learning, research, and creativity.
