Ang Pamantasan (AP) and the PLM Student Commission on Audit (PLM SCOA) formalized their partnership for transparency and accountability through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing on Jan. 23.

Representing SCOA at the signing were Chief Commissioner Jehoshuah D. Madrilejo and Secretary Paul Gabriel C. Limense, while AP was represented by Editor-in-Chief Marian Sophia D. Carreon and Managing Editor Janelle D. Ugot.

The renewed agreement emphasizes both organizations’ commitment to enlightening the student body regarding the auditing process of accredited student councils and organizations as well as its significance.

This partnership further reinforces PLM SCOA’s mandate under the 2025 PLM Student Manual, which authorizes the commission to independently examine, audit, and settle all financial accounts of student councils and organizations across the university.

Through this agreement, AP shall launch its special coverage “Pagsusuri 2026,” which will cover auditing activities, findings, recommendations, and reports for the Academic Year 2025-2026. This initiative aims to provide in-depth and inclusive coverage for all colleges and organizations, keeping the PLM community informed and updated.

As independent bodies, both SCOA and AP reaffirmed their commitment to a shared vision of transparency and good governance throughout the university. This also marks the organizations’ fourth year in collaboration.
