AP, PLM SCOMELEC formalize partnership for Halalan 2026

Ang Pamantasan (AP) and the PLM Student Commission on Elections (SCOMELEC) formalized a partnership for this year's upcoming student council election period through a joint signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Wednesday, Feb. 18. 

At the signing, PLM SCOMELEC Chairperson Czar Marc Anthony Sanvictores and Operations Officer Hannah Kim De Jesus were present as representatives of the commission while AP was represented by Associate Editor Ella Mae De Asis and Rob Carlo Elle, Bantay Halalan 2026 Chairperson.

The agreement will become effective upon execution by March and shall be completed until May 26, 2026, or when the election season concludes.

Through the agreement, AP and PLM SCOMELEC aim to provide a platform for announcements, election-related updates, proper media coverage, and aid in facilitating election related-events, uplifting transparency and voter awareness within the university.
