The champs are back!

AP Bren from the Philippines secured its second world title against the championship-hungry Indonesia's Onic Esports, 4-3 in their final showdown match held at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum, Dec. 17.

The country’s best made history in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) after they came back to their throne as the first team with two world titles following their successful M2 run last 2021.

The roaring home crowd now has four world titles, with Blacklist International and Echo Philippines reigning the M3 and M4, respectively.

Bren clinched victory by aggressively attacking the exposed midlane and finally ending the best of seven series grand finals against the resilient Onic.

David "FlapTzy" Canon earned the MVP award for his notable performance as one of the best EXP laners in MLBB worldwide.

"Mga teammates ko 'yung nagpanalo...actually, nagpatalo pa nga ako nung nag Arlott ako...[tapos] 'di ko aakalain, parang ano...surreal," FlapTzy said in an interview by ONE ESports on MLBB's awarding ceremony when asked why he is surprised by his MVP award.

With the said victory, AP Bren bagged the M5 world championship and their share from a prize pool of USD 900,000.
